Wah-un, two-hoo, tha-ree of these and you’ll feel it. A reminiscent flavor of my favorite Halloween lollipop in liquid form. A basic rum and coke with a little extra umph in the taste department. It doesn’t take many licks to get to the center of this delicious cocktail. Perfect for sipping on the porch come Halloween night.

Creme de cacao is a chocolate liqueur that is made by distilling the cacao itself. I used the clear creme de cacao because it has more of the milk chocolate flavor. The darker creme de cacao is less sweeter and more like dark chocolate. You can easily find this at most liquor stores and for pretty cheap. My bottle cost me $10. Lots of great uses for it!

Fun fact! Grenadine isn’t actually cherry flavored. It’s made from pomegranates. Hopefully I didn’t just ruin your childhood. The flavor is very cherry forward but no actual cherries were involved in the process of making grenadine. This is why I added some maraschino cherry juice, even though that too is a little deceiving.
